When I was la little girl growing up in Canada, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to college to study art. Since then, I have taught preschool through middle school art in schools, owned an arts and crafts store, and created many, many drawings and paintings. I have painted murals on the bedroom walls of children, for businesses, and in outdoor living areas.

I use many different mediums, such as colored pencils, ink, professional-grade acrylics, and watercolor. I love to study people and things, to observe their angles, curves, colors and shapes. The very best way to capture the essence and personality in a subject is this careful study, and then using the best medium to bring the image to life.

I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I have my dog, Goose, and three kitties, Murray, Posy, and Kodi. I love nature and am always looking to find the beauty in each and every animal, plant, & landscape, and in the people I meet. Many of my pieces are directly influenced by this prolonged study.
