Jane Lea is a pet portrait artist specializing in custom artistry with premium materials. With a lifelong passion for art and many years of experience, Jane brings a unique blend of expertise and creativity to every pet portrait. My Artistic Approach
​I specialize in creating vibrant portraits of beloved dogs and cats, as well as commemorative memorial portraits that honor pets who have passed. My portfolio also includes custom portraits of people. Each piece is an heirloom-quality, one-of-a-kind artwork designed to last a lifetime.​ I primarily use professional-grade colored pencils, and also sometimes incorporate ink, acrylics, graphite, and watercolor.

My Background
​​My earliest and fondest memories of growing up in Canada are of drawing and painting. This passion never waned, leaving me to study art in college and eventually build a career around it. Over the years, I've worked as a freelance graphic artist, taught art to students from preschool through middle school, and even owned an arts and crats store. I've also created countless drawings and paintings, including large-scale indoor and outdoor murals.

My Inspiration
I enjoy spending time with my family and our pets: my dog Goose and three cats, Murray, Posy, and Toofles. I especially enjoy illustrating pets, focusing on capturing the unique personality of each beloved animal.​​​​
